Equine Ridge is a group of horsemen and women dedicated to helping horse owners develop and refine their skills both in the saddle and in their knowledge.
We stand by the philosophy that it takes patience, understanding, knowledge, and systematic action to create great horses and great horsemen.
Thank you for checking in with us, and please let us know what will help you become the best horse trainer you can be.
Equine Ridge does not intend to provide veterinary advice. We go to great lengths to help readers better understand their horses; however, the content on this site is not a substitute for veterinary guidance.
Fred is the editor of Equine Ridge. He has been riding, training, and performing horses since he was a boy.
Over the years he has focused on training English, western, and pleasure riding horses and riders.
He has competing on the AQHA, PHBA, and NRHA circuits and today he primarily focuses on offering cost free training for youth who do not have the means to pay for traditional riding lessons.
He is a huge proponent of resistance free training methods as he believes that a calm horse is always better than trying to train a tense or anxious horse.
